Symmetrical and asymmetrical clipping modes with granular control over how much signal gets compressed.
Improved circuit stability and input impedance. For best results use the S. abbottii as the first pedal in the chain, but it’s not as buffer-sensitive as the original. Ambient temperature also has no impact on sound.

Tone-Low pass filter to tame fizzines and take it into darker territory.
Clip-Blends in the clipping diodes, full CCW no diodes, full CW all diodes. Compensate with the volume knob as you blend these in.
Heavy-Controls the amount of low end content hitting the first transistor. Has a big impact on overall drive sound.
Sym/Asym-Symmetrical clipping is smoother and more compressed, Asymmetrical introduces even more harmonics.
